TASS/. Telegram will launch the paid Premium subscription in June, making it possible for messenger users to have additional functions, Telegram founder Pavel Durov wrote in his Telegram channel.

In 2022, a paid version of Telegram was announced with unlimited cloud storage and double the size of uploads, channels and chat folders. There are no sponsored messages in the Premium version.

The Telegram Premium subscription costs US$4.99 monthly and is currently being rolled out for user internationally, Telegram announced in a blog post.
