Trombone Shorty has taken center stage in New Orleans since was 4 years old and he'll perform at the Super Bowl in his hometown.

Louisiana musicians Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle joined the Super Bowl LIX pre-game festivities Sunday with a performance of the patriotic standard “America the Beautiful” on the field at New Orleans’ Caesar’s Superdome.

Lauren Daigle was joined by her fellow Louisiana native Trombone Shorty for a New Orleans-flavored take on "America the Beautiful" ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl. Trombone Shorty kicked things off with a wailing trombone line before Daigle began singing the patriotic standard.
