The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities was the scene of pro-Palestine protests last year, which included some protesters occupying the university's Morrill Hall, causing damage as they barricaded themselves inside the building using bike locks and patio furniture.

The federal government is looking into allegations of antisemitism on the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus. The U is one of five colleges under investigation by the U.S. Department of Education.
