On December 1, Microsoft announced that the Windows Live Wave 3 beta was closing down, and that the company would begin moving its Windows Live users to the final version of its web services.
The leaks are picking up. Windows Live Wave 3 -- the next version of Microsoft's Windows Live software and services -- is finally expected to move into widescale beta testing in the coming weeks.
It's impossible to know for sure, given Microsoft is continuing to decline to comment, but it's looking like Windows Live Wave 4 -- like Internet Explorer 9 -- isn't going to support Windows XP.
