Microsoft Designer’s AI art and editing capabilities are becoming more formally integrated into Windows and Microsoft’s services today, as they move into Photos, Word, and PowerPoint.

But to generate AI art within Word, Microsoft charges an additional $20 per user per month for what it calls a Copilot Pro subscription. That’s where it begins to get a little weird.
