Chelsea’s strategy of snapping up the best young talent in Europe and beyond shows no signs of slowing down, following reports that they are set to secure the double signing of Sporting CP duo

Chelsea have agreed a fee with Sporting CP for midfielder Dario Essugo. A fee of £18.5million ($23.9m) has been agreed for the 20-year-old, with no add-ons or sell-on clauses included as part of the deal.

Chelsea are already making strides in the transfer market despite there being months left for the summer window to officially begin — having made moves to sign Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo. It seems like Chelsea have no plans to steer clear from their transfer policy of signing some of the most exciting youngsters playing in Europe — with Quenda just being just 17 and Essugo being 20 as well.
