Two days have passed since the Letcher County Sheriff allegedly walked into a judge's chambers and shot him. Here's a look at the timeline.

After announcing he was recusing himself from the case because of his relationships with the two men, the commonwealth's attorney for Letcher County is urging people to stop spreading rumors about what may have happened in the shooting death of a judge there.

District Judge Kevin Mullins was shot inside the Letcher County Courthouse. Kentucky State Auditor of Public Accounts Allison Ball confirmed Mullins was the shooting victim in a post on social media.
