The St. Louis Cardinals got the bats going against the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday. St. Louis pummeled Pirates ace Paul Skenes, en route to a 5-3 victory at PNC Park. It turned out to be the worst performance from Skenes in his Major League Baseball career.

Now, three players are making at least $500 million, including New York Mets OF Juan Soto (15 years, $765 million), Los Angeles Dodgers SP/DH Shohei Ohtani (10 years, $700 million) and Toronto Blue Jays 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (14 years, $500 million).
