An 18-year-old from North Highlands died in a crash that shut down a stretch of Highway 65 in Yuba County for multiple hours Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

An 18-year-old man from North Highlands was killed in a rollover crash that shut down southbound Highway 65 in Yuba County, the California Highway Patrol said. Officers responded to the crash on Highway 65 at McGowan Parkway around 2:11 p.

The Toyota driver lost control of the car and spun out onto the right shoulder, overturning several times and hitting the McGowan Parkway overcrossing embankment.
