Patrick Mahomes had this classy message for CJ Stroud after the Kansas City Chiefs' win over the Houston Texans.
Dell suffered the injury during the Texans' 27–19 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday while he caught a 30-yard touchdown pass. His close friend and quarterback C.J. Stroud was visibly upset on the field, as he stayed close to Dell as long as he could.
Another great interaction took place inside the bowels of Arrowhead Stadium. After both had changed back into their street clothes, coach Andy Reid stopped to speak with Stroud, who is in his second season in the NFL. Vince Lovergine,, the sports director at WIBW, shared video of the very end of the Reid-Stroud chat.
Houston's flop on Christmas Day might send some franchises into a late-season tailspin. Quarterback C.J. Stroud is certain that won't happen to the Texans.
Stroud, the former Ohio State Buckeyes star, finished the day completing 23-of-39 passes for 244 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while adding an extra 23 rushing yards. Dell, even after missing nearly the entire second half, was still the leading receiver in the game, tallying six catches for 98 yards and a score.
Instead of their high-profile QB, it's the Texans' defense that could lead them on a postseason run? Just how far can it take them?
The Houston Texans second-year quarterback found tight end Dalton Schultz for a 10-yard touchdown pass on first-and-goal to make it a 10-7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. It marked the second touchdown reception in three games. Here’s a video of the play, courtesy of the team’s official Twitter/X page:

The Houston Texans' season-long offensive woes came to a head on Wednesday as the unit failed to score a single point in a 31-2 blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Texans' offense has looked nowhere near as efficient as it did a season ago,
NFL games, C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans were dominated by Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. In the 31-2 loss, the Texans failed to score a single point on offense, getting on the board solely due to a defensive safety.
Wide receiver Diontae Johnson, who the Texans claimed Tuesday off waivers from the Ravens, is inactive. He joins guard Shaq Mason, center/guard Juice Scruggs, linebacker Devin White, defensive end Jerry Hughes and defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi.
