New bill could shut down Fayetteville rental fee cap
Senate Bill 91 is expected to be presented to a committee in the Arkansas Legislature next week and could shut down an ordinance created in Fayetteville. The bill states, "Local governmental units shall have no authority to regulate or control the amount charged for a rental application fee or rental deposit for private residential or commercial property.
