Selena Gomez recently went viral for making an emotional plea on social media in reaction to Donald Trump's deportation measures and arrests. Over 956 people have been arrested by the US agency ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) since Trump took office.

Actress and musician Selena Gomez shared and later deleted a video on social media sobbing about Trump's deportations of illegal immigrants back to their home countries.

Gomez wrote “I’m sorry” with the Mexican flag emoji on her video. She shared a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories where she wrote, “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.” Gomez has deleted that post, as well. The Post has reached out to Gomez’s rep for comment.

President Donald Trump ’s newly appointed border czar has responded to Selena Gomez and others who are decrying the arrests of hundreds of migrants across the country, telling anyone objecting to the mass operation to take their complaints to lawmakers, as Gomez is fending off attacks from Trump supporters and a Republican former Senate candidate.

The rapper’s post came just hours after Gomez, 32, posted — and then quickly deleted — a video of herself sobbing over President Trump’s program of mass deportations.

Gomez later deleted the video, in which she cried into the camera over the Trump administration's deportations of migrants.

Selena Gomez's sobbing video drew quite a bit of attention, including from Dr. Phil. The television host deemed himself an authority on President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown which left Selena in emotional disarray.

However, if we’re getting technical, Gomez probably still doesn’t actually have a billion dollars in cash to dole out at her disposal. Most of her assets, after all, are tied up in Rare Beauty, which put a pause on its IPO sale late last year. With that being said, does Gomez likely have a lot of money on hand? I’ll bet!
