Embiid and the team have been considering alternative options, including another surgery, for his left knee which hasn’t regained full strength following meniscus surgery last February.

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid's 2024-25 season is over. The team announced Thursday that Embiid has been ruled out for the remainder of the season because he is "medically unable to play."
