Former two-division champion Henry Cejudo will fight No. 8 contender Song Yadong in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Feb. 22 in Seattle, UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell told ESPN on Monday.

The UFC returns to Seattle for a stacked fight night event that is headlined by two bantamweight matchups in the main and co-main events.

Cejudo’s return to the bantamweight division comes after back-to-back losses to Aljamain Sterling and Merab Dvalishvili since returning from a three-year fighting hiatus. He retired following a controversial victory over Dominick Cruz in the UFC 249 co-main event.

The Chinese fighter was rumored to fight Umar Nurmagomedov, the next title challenger, but no matter, Yadong gets an opponent he asked for in Cejudo. Yadong is coming off a decision loss to Petr Yan at UFC 299, which snapped a two-fight win streak.

The lineup for the UFC’s return to Seattle is set. The promotion revealed on Tuesday the full lineup for the Feb. 22 Fight Night event at Climate Pledge Arena, which is headlined by a bantamweight tilt between former two-division champion Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong.

On February 22, Henry Cejudo will return to action against Song Yadong in an eagerly-anticipated match-up at UFC Seattle. The bout will give ‘Triple C’ a great opportunity to propel himself back into the title picture. And he isn’t the only former champion on the card keen to reclimb the mountain.
