A man in West Palm Beach, Florida has been arrested after being accused of making threats against President Trump, police say.

Shannon Depararro Atkins, 46, admitted writing the posts, but said he was joking. Police did not find any weapons when they arrested him.

Police said the man said something to the effect of "Lincoln, JFK, Reagan, Martin Luther King, and Trump. Unfortunately, one is still alive."

The man has been arrested on one count of written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism.
