A US court ordered a white supremacist group to pay $2.8 million in damages to a Black man its shield-wielding, masked members attacked two years ago.

A white supremacist group has been ordered to pay millions to a Black musician who was the target of an apparent racist attack in Boston.

A federal judge awarded $2.75 million to Charles Murrell, a Black musician attacked by the white supremacist group Patriot Front during a Boston march.

Patriot Front, a white nationalist group, was ordered Monday to pay more than $2.7 million to a Black musician for an attack that occurred in Boston. Charles Murrell said he was attacked by members of the group who were in the city for an unannounced "flash march" in July 2022.
