Less than 48 hours after their Game 7 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs, they came out and dominated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2 in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference finals.

Down 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Carolina Hurricanes staved off elimination, taking a 3-0 victory in Game 4 at Amerant Bank Arena. Game 5 is May 28 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

How did the Panthers do it? By hounding the Hurricanes on the forecheck, keeping their gaps tight and keeping Carolina to the outside in the rare opportunity it got in the offensive zone.
