The new "Beyond Boundaries" building concept at Virginia Tech features not only dorm rooms but outdoor learning hubs, courtyards and a performance hall.

The 15,000-square-foot facility includes housing for 10 women and 36 men in a quad room setting and two private rooms for palliative or private care.
