Kings interim coach Doug Christie knows what it feels like to be traded midseason. That's because it happened to him, in Sacramento, where he spent the majority of his playing career. So he understands all too well what De’Aaron Fox experienced Monday when the team officially shipped its star point guard off to San Antonio as part of a three-team trade.

Kings star De'Aaron Fox is having another incredible season, averaging 25.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. The 27-year-old point guard has been the heart of Sacramento's offense for much of the season and could be on his way to his second All-Star appearance.

After missing the first half of the season, Kings rookie Devin Carter has impressed interim coach Doug Christie and the rest of the organization.
