Ashli Ford, 40, of Milan, was indicted on 19 charges back in early 2024. According to court records, 16 of those charges were felonies, including extortion, telecommunications fraud and intimidation.

Ford is suing nine defendents, all attorneys, for alleged fraudulent billings over many years. Ford said it lost about $100 million in over inflated legal bills and is seeking $300 million.
