Along with sports courts, a skate park, pedestrian and bicycle paths and a variety of gardens, Gathering Place is also home to a beach and a pond where visitors can rent paddleboats, kayaks or canoes.

Christmas is on full display at Gathering Place, with countless free activities and events for families. Inside the Williams Lodge, a Christmas tree catered to Oklahomans stands nearly 20 feet tall.
