A sort of Achilles heel for IU women's basketball has been a tendency to fall apart in the fourth quarter. That didn't happen Sunday against Nebraska.

Defending Nebraska senior center Alexis Markowski, who entered Sunday averaging 14.7 points per game, was one of Indiana’s keys to securing a win. But the Lincoln, Nebraska, native played just 18 minutes as the Hoosiers held the 6-foot-3 Markowski to 8 points and three rebounds.

Indiana outscored the Nebraska women’s basketball team by 30 points at the 3-point line in a 76-60 win on Sunday in Bloomington, Indiana. Indiana shot 43% on 3-pointers, finishing with 13. That’s tied for the most by a Nebraska opponent this season, matching Creighton’s total in November.
