Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders with a concussion after appearing to hit his head on the ground in the first quarter.

The Philadelphia Eagles will have to roll without Jalen Hurts in Week 17. In a Friday news conference, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said the starting quarterback was still in concussion protocol.

The Eagles may have to accomplish that goal without the services of their top quarterback, Jalen Hurts. Hurts suffered a concussion in the first quarter of the Eagles' 36-33 loss to the Commanders.
