A 1,100-pound metal ring from a rocket smashed in to a Kenyan village, where it startled residents and flattened trees

Nairobi: A massive piece of space debris, weighing around 500 kg, reportedly plummeted into a rural Kenyan village, sending shockwaves among the locals. According to the reports, no injuries were reported due to the sudden fall of space debris in the village. On information, the Kenya Space Agency (KSA) reached the spot and collected the debris.

A huge, red-hot object fell from the sky into a Kenyan village on Monday afternoon according to local residents cited by the country’s national broadcaster, prompting an immediate investigation by the national space agency.
