An Ole Miss student was among the dozens injured in a terror attack in New Orleans. Chancellor Glenn Boyce announced the student was critically injured in the attack and is receiving medical care. Boyce says he has spoken to the student’s mother and extended the university’s support.

Two Mississippians have been named as among those killed in the New Year's Day truck attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and an Ole Miss student was injured.

Freshman Finance major Parker Vidrine has now been identified as the Ole Miss student who was injured in the New Orleans terrorist attack.
