A vehicle believed to be connected to the abduction and death of a 22-year-old Ontario man in Winnipeg has been found, police say.

Winnipeg police says two people have been charged in connection to the death of 22-year-old Zeyad Shammo. WPS responded to a report of a missing man around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 10, on Bridge Lake Drive near Red Spruce Road. It is believed the man had been abducted the previous day.

The vehicle had the licence plate LLN 113, although police said it may have been swapped out or removed altogether.

Winnipeg police sectioned off the scene of an incident involving at least two vehicles spanning a few blocks of Osborne Street Saturday evening. Yellow tape surrounded an area between Woodward and Brandon Avenues.

Investigators are searching for a black Honda Civic they believe is linked to the homicide of a 22-year-old Ontario man who was found dead inside a Winnipeg home earlier this month.

Winnipeg police are seeking public assistance locating a vehicle connected to a murder investigation. The vehicle is a 2018 black Honda Civic Touring, 4-door, with Manitoba license plate LLN113. Police caution that the license plates may have been removed or changed.
