Just months after wrapping up Brat Summer — and a few weeks away from kicking off her tour for the ubiquitous album that spawned the meme season — Charli XCX is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.

Charli XCX is set to star and produce "The Moment" at A24, according to an insider with knowledge of the project.

Charli XCX’s pivot to film is panning out quite nicely. Soon, we’ll be seeing her in feature films including The Gallerist  Sacrifice, 100 Nights Of Hero, Erupcja, I Want Your Sex, Overcompensating, and Faces Of Death,

Aidan Zamiri will make his directorial debut on the project. The Scottish photographer and filmmaker also wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes; A.G. Cooke, who produced much of Charli’s year-defining 2024 album Brat, is locked in to compose the score.

Charli XCX will produce and star in The Moment, the feature directorial debut from photographer Aidan Zamiri with a score from A.G. Cook. Charli developed the original idea the film is based on, which was adapted into a screenplay by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes.
