Ronald Acuña Jr. is at least a couple weeks away from returning from left knee surgery. But the 2023 National League MVP still created headlines on Sunday with a since-deleted social media post that was critical of Braves manager Brian Snitker.

For all of Acuña's elite talent and obvious love for the game, there have been times when his showmanship hurt the Braves. In 2019, for example, Brian Snitker benched Acuña for admiring a fly ball against the Dodgers. He had to settle for a single off the wall and was thrown out trying to steal second.

Jarred Kelenic's lack of hustle during a play in the sixth inning of Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins generated plenty of discussion in the aftermath since manager Brian Snitker did not bench him for being thrown out at second base after he admired what he thought would be a home run.
