All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider is a new comic run set to begin in August, and when fans saw the synopsis for the series back in May, it immediately raised eyebrows.

Marvel Comics is repivoting one of its most successful additions to the Spider-Canon of the last decade—and for better or worse, it's certainly weird.

But the Gwen of an alt-reality lived on to become Ghost Spider (AKA Spider-Gwen). Now, Spider-Gwen has moved from her home reality into the core Marvel Universe, and she's sticking around.
