Xbox Cloud Gaming will be available on select LG smart TVs later this year, Microsoft has announced. The feature will enable Game Pass Ultimate members to play their games directly from the Xbox app on supported TVs via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Owners of LG’s latest Smart TVs will be able to effortlessly discover and play a wide selection of PC and console games from industry-leading partners, and soon Xbox, through the new Gaming Portal.

Microsoft's first-party Xbox controller is an obvious solution with widespread compatibility. Pairing these peripherals to LG TVs is usually straightforward.

That's thanks to a new year team-up between Xbox and LG, bringing support for Xbox Cloud Gaming to LG Smart TVs later this year. As shared on Xbox Wire, these LG TVs will soon allow players to browse and play Xbox games through the Cloud via the upcoming Gaming Portal app.

In addition to allowing players to stream Xbox Game Pass titles from a variety of devices, Microsoft has continued to offer many of its first-party titles on competing platforms.
