After initially launching in 2022, the Cadillac Lyriq seemed to finally hit a turning point in 2024 with GM addressing many of its software and battery manufacturing issues. The Lyriq closed out the year as the second best selling EV at GM just behind the Chevrolet Equinox EV with 28,402 sales.

The first V-Series for an EV, the Lyriq-V wil be on display at Daytona this weekend. The 615-horse Lyriq-V hits 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.

Cadillac’s V-Series model lineup has officially made the jump to the EV era. The brand’s latest entry, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, is the first all-electric model to carry the performance moniker. On Thursday, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V debuted with 615 hp, a dedicated V-Mode, a V-specific sound, upgraded brakes, and a revised design. It'll cost $79,990 including a $1,395 destination charge, and it will go into production at the GM's Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee in the first quarter of 2025.
