ANN ARBOR – Michigan is 1-0 in Big Ten play, thanks to a late rushing touchdown from Kalel Mullings on fourth-and-goal from the 1. Mullings’ score gave the 18th-ranked Wolverines a 27-24 lead over No. 11 USC in the final minute Saturday at Michigan Stadium, and the defense closed it out by forcing a turnover on downs with eight seconds remaining.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Certainly, Lincoln Riley thought his introduction to the Big Ten would go much different. But the bruising, physical conference welcomed him and the USC Trojans in by showcasing a complete lack of a passing offense on the other side, along with a ferocious defensive attack.
