Like other Southern Baptists, Juan Sanchez, pastor of High Pointe Baptist Church in Austin, claimed he wanted to clarify what the denomination's statement of faith already says about women pastors.

The event, which took place in Dallas over Tuesday and Wednesday this week, saw decisions on women pastors, same-sex marriage, pornography, sports betting and much more.
