China's trade with Venezuela, its largest oil supplier, has stalled after U.S. President Trump threatened 25% tariffs on goods from any country importing Venezuelan oil.

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Trade of Venezuelan oil to top buyer China stalled on Tuesday after U.S. President Donald Trump's order threatening tariffs on countries buying from Caracas created fresh uncertainty, days after U.S. sanctions targeting China's imports from Iran.

President Trump on Monday said the U.S. will impose a 25% tariff on imports from countries that purchase oil or gasoline from Venezuela.
