The Critics Choice Awards, honoring “the finest in cinematic achievement,” according to Film Affinity, are set to take place in February. The event is organized by the Critics Choice Association, a collective of broadcast, radio, film critics and journalists, who review both film and television, stated on the official Critics Choice website.

The 2025 Critics Choice Awards have been rescheduled for a second time because of the California wildfires. The show as originally scheduled for Jan. 12 then moved to Jan. 26 and now will air on Friday, Feb. 7. The Critics Choice Association said the red carpet special ahead of the telecast will no longer be held.
