Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks would follow this up with a tweet showing the floating island near Retail Row. With Epic tweeting a new teaser, expect the map to receive an update very soon.

Now that floating island is on the move, and it's having an impact on the map during Battle Royale matches. This past weekend, Fortnite's floating island began traveling around the map.

Fortnite Season 6 is off to the races on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile; here's what the new map looks like and some of the locations you can check out.

Around the third or fourth storm circle, Loot Island's spawn location will be automatically pinged on the map, and after a few moments, it will travel through a rift and appear in the air.
