Bayern Munich have suffered a major injury blow heading into their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Inter Milan but it gives Thomas Muller the chance of a fairytale farewell.

Nearly 15 years on from locking horns in the 2009-10 Champions League final, Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich and Serie A champions Inter Milan square off for a place in this year's semi-finals, starting with Tuesday's quarter-final first leg at the Allianz Arena.

For Milan, the biggest news is that Rafael Leao is set to return to the starting XI after being left out of Sergio Conceicao’s line-up at the Stadio Maradona on Sunday. Conceicao could also make a series of changes at the back, with Malick Thiaw in line to return at centre-back in place of Strahinja Pavlovic.
