Data: Donald Trump has been elected the next president of the United States. Here's how each Louisiana parish voted in the presidential election.

The state has eight Electoral College votes. A Republican candidate has won Louisiana in nine of the last 11 presidential elections. According to the Associated Press, out of those elections, Louisiana has voted for the winner eight times. Trump won the state in 2020 with 58.5% of the vote

ABC News is projecting that Donald Trump will win Louisiana's eight electoral votes. Louisianans headed to the polls on Nov. 5 to vote in the presidential race as well as several down-ballot contests.
