Matt Darby, founder of aerodynamic jockey silks company Speed Silks, died July 2. He was 54.

Lanny R. Silks, 84, of Milroy, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Born on May 18, 1941, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Albert and Ella Mae (Groce) Silks.
