HOLLAND — Bliss Bakery has officially opened in the former Saunders Bakery in downtown Holland. "It's 4 a.m. and today is opening day," owner Krista Koets wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, July 4.

Lemonjello's was opened in January 2003 by Matthew Scott, a Holland High School and Hope College graduate employed by the business' forerunner, Till Midnight Restaurant, Bakery and Cafe.

On Friday, May 24, the Holland-based bakery launched its new salad and smoothie menu. The addition, which includes four salads, four smoothies and hummus, caters to diverse eating habits.

The bakery/restaurant has blossomed into quite a successful staple in Holland, helping teleport their customers to the Netherlands with every bite of their authentic Dutch food.
