The winners of the 2024 ... skill and knowledge in school safety trends. Six schools from across the State of Alabama were selected to receive the Safe School Award, the highest achievement.

The announcement was made at the council’s annual Governor’s Safety Awards luncheon. The Dassel site was one of 31 winners of the Minnesota Safety Council’s highest award – the Award of Honor.

The deadline for submissions is May 5. Award recipients will receive certificates, digital badges, fleet decals and more.
