TULSA, OK (KTUL) — The Tulsa Police Department (TPD) released information regarding the police chase that ended in a shooting on Thursday. According to police, the suspect in the incident got away despite efforts from police trying to tase and shoot him. Just before 3:30 pm, officers initiated a traffic stop near 51st and Waco.

Michael Spear Jr., 35, has been identified as the suspect in a traffic stop that led to a pursuit. He faces multiple charges, including endangerment and firearm possession during a felony.

Jace Reddell has been charged with first-degree murder for the role police said he played in the death of 16-year-old Ja’tycie Williams.
