MTA unveils first part of new LIRR concourse at Penn Station 02:09. NEW YORK ... MTA Chair Janno Lieber and Gov. Kathy Hochul did not mince words when unveiling a new main entrance Tuesday.

Renovation of the LIRR concourse also included the construction of the East End Gateway on Seventh Avenue. This entrance was completed in 2020 at the same time as the Moynihan Train Hall.
