Recorder's Norwalk headquarters received a bomb threat on Saturday — the latest in a string of threats targeting election hubs across the region and country.

The bomb threat was “communicated to” the registrar’s main facility on Berger Drive in North San Jose about 8 a.m. Saturday, leading to the evacuation of the building. Vote counting was suspended until the building can be cleared, according to the report.

Authorities said the voter registration offices of Orange and Riverside counties were closed Friday after receiving a bomb threat.
