Chiefs to rest Patrick Mahomes but Broncos insist backup QB Carson Wentz still formidable
With Kansas City (15-1) having wrapped up the top playoff seed in the AFC, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that Wentz will start in place of Mahomes in the 2:25 p.m. regular-season finale at Empower Field at Mile High. It’s a game the Broncos (9-7) might have to win or tie to wrap up the No. 7 playoff seed.
