Capitals goalie Charlie Lindgren, who took a hit to the head Friday night against the Canadiens, was put on IR on Saturday.

Lindgren suffered an upper-body injury in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens after a collision with Nick Suzuki, who was pushed into the crease by Brandon Duhaime. Suzuki appeared to bump into Lindgren's head, sending the 31-year-old netminder down hard to the ice.
