Coldplay’s Chris Martin thanked his Indian audience on Saturday (Jan. 18) for “forgiving” British colonialism, as the band’s Music Of The Spheres dates kicked off in Mumbai.

Coldplay is hyperaware of its impact on the world. In fact, their environmental sustainability efforts while on tour has become a model for others entertainers to follow. During their recent show in India, the “ Human Heart ” musicians took it a step further.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin surprised fans during his latest gig in Mumbai on the South Asian leg of his Music of the Spheres tour.

The band, in India for the Asia leg of their highly anticipated Music of Spheres world tour, performed at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, attended by around 75,000 people. This was Coldplay’s first performance in India after the 2016 show at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.

Dakota Johnson is accompanying Chris Martin for Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres World Tour' in India, which began on Saturday.

For the outing, Dakota Johnson wore a long printed dress and sneakers. Chris Martin was seen in a blue T-shirt, black pants, sneakers and a cap.
