Season 6 of “Expedition Bigfoot” will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The new season will premiere at 10 p.m. ET on the Discovery channel. Those without cable can watch the show for free through Philo or DirecTV Stream each offering a free trial to new users. The storyline is, “Months after the Northern California expedition, Bryce [Johnson], Mireya [Mayor] and Russell [Acord] head to Washington after a fresh lead points to a target zone where Bigfoot groups are congregating for an unknown reason. Survivalist Biko Wright joins the hunt.”

Season 6 of the show, which premieres January 22, sees the elite team of specialists investigate an area in the Pacific Northwest where there has been evidence that leads them to believing large groups may be gathering.

Those without basic cable can still live stream the season five premiere of Expedition Bigfoot on Wednesday with either Philo, Fubo or DirecTV Stream, all of which offer free trials for new subscribers. However, Philo is the cheapest live streaming option at $28 a month after its 7-day free trial.
