Officials on Thursday estimated the L.A. wildfires have caused more than $50 billion in property damage, as fires continue to burn.
Four people were killed after a massive fire engulfed a Missouri apartment complex Wednesday. The fire started shortly after 6 a.m. at the Indy Ridge Apartments in Independence, east of Kansas City.
The fire was reported around 2:20 p.m. Thursday in the Otay Mountains of San Diego's South Bay near the border.
