Ludvig Aberg shot a 9-under 63 for a two-shot lead over Danny Walker and Hayden Springer in the opening round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

Ahead of this week’s Farmers Insurance Open, Ludvig Åberg sat down in the media center for his pre-tournament press conference and raved about San Diego being his favorite place in the world. He talked about how Torrey Pines brings him peace, too, and how it’s a golf course that suits his eye.

There’s a reason why his teammates at Texas Tech University called him Ken, a reference to the Barbie character. If this golf thing doesn’t work out, he could probably make it as a model for Levi’s Jeans or Jockey shorts.
